Fall into or out of health

When I started CAM in 1996 I did not believe season changes had such a dramatic effect on health. If you showed me a list of what people come to the clinic for in one week with no dates. I could tell you the season they came in!

This is when people get real sick and bad things can happen. Change your diet to more root vegetables and warmer foods. Get some more clothing on. Cut back on some activities, stay strong and rested.

If you want to do a cleanse now is a good time, run it past which ever medical professional you choose. Eat three meals a day, sit down when you eat, do not work, read, or watch TV when you eat. Also chew your food a little more.

Fall is a season to have friends over for a relaxing dinner and enjoyment. Traditionally it is the rest after the long spring/summer working season and before the long hard winter. I know it sounds so old fashioned and outdated but our “modern” world is only a few generations old.

Think about it. My two uncles farmed with horses 65 years ago! It’s not that long ago we still lived with the seasons. I have found in practice most people’s bodies still are affected by seasons.

Also season changes are the natural time to get a personal tune up, if that interests you give us or whomever a call. It’s a long race to the end make it enjoyable.
